Hi! My name is Stacey and here is a little background on me.
The beginning of my journey towards becoming a trainer all started with my family's love for breeding and showing conformation show dogs to compete in competitions all over Victoria, NSW and Canberra.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to gain experience the Animal industry including veterinarian nursing, Puppy preschool training, Adult obedience training, animal behaviour with certified trainers and veterinarian behaviorist learning all the different approaches and understanding the difference between behaviour, handler and medical debilitaters
My time in Melbourne highlighted my passion for dog training. after a lot of research I completed my certificate 3 in dog behavior and training with NDTF (national dog training federation) and during my time here I was privileged enough to gain experience from multiple individual trainers, behaviourists and obedience clubs including but not only the positive k9 training in kew (check out there website for some fantastic online training options) and the rosebud dog obedience club on the beautiful Mornington peninsula.
After years of the city life we where hit with the covid lock downs! so our little family decided to finally moved back to the simpler life here in Hamilton. Upon moving in and fining our feet I came to notice the lack of training options out reginal. with support from the Warrnambool club and Melbourne trainers I welcomed to the town...
Mutts about training
I strive to continue to train to the needs of each owner in the best interests of the dog using a balanced approach incorporating all I have learned while staying truthful, directive, supportive and fun.
Along side me you will see Mr Leo my trusty lab. he is full of beans and eager to please! he has also completed training with me at NDTF and continues to be a valuable asset to my business by providing help and guidance for a lot of socially uncomfortable and aggressive dogs.
We look forward to growing and being a big part of the Hamilton community for years to come.
